Hi Justin. A pleasant surprise to see you here. I like the way you have expanded your knowledge of both UK and Australasian bands way beyond your own country's homegrown/international hits. Surely not every songwriter in that place that is the mecca of pop you come from are as open minded and curious as yourself? I always kind of liked the original of this song from the eighties as a kid. It's not very Beatlesque but the melody sticks in the brain all the same.
