The counter was cleaned. When you have cats in a house they are always up on counters. Especially when you're out of the room or sleeping. We always clean the counters before use because of this. My wife loves cats. So if I don't like it, I can move out. :->

Tim,Great kitchen design. It looks as though you took your time and planned the remodel very well. It is amazing how much goes into the complete remodeling of a kitchen and how hectic things are around the house during that time but you can sure see from your video it was well worth it. 3 months is a long time to eat out but its worth it for the years of enjoyment that space will give you. Great job!

I have a short (less than 5 feet) load bearing that I want to remove between my living room and kitchen. Do you have a video on how to do this? or have any advice? Thanks. I am a do-it-yourselfer, but would not mind paying someone to keep our roof from colapsing.
